Sanne Nuyens

Sanne Nuyens (Belgium, 1981) started out writing award-winning shorts featured on A-list festivals. She then co-created and co-wrote the TV series »Hotel Beau Séjour« which won the public prize at Series Mania in 2017. The series was distributed worldwide as a Netflix original and remade as »The Rising« (Sky, UK, 2022). Before creating a second season for the series, she co-created and co- wrote the court room drama series »The Twelve«. The series won the award for best screenplay at Canneseries in France and 7 Ensors in Ostend. It aired on Flemish national broadcaster Eén fall 2019 and was distributed on several channels worldwide and also by Netflix. The Australian remake is in production.
