Thara is a comedy and drama writer based in London and Milton Keynes. She has a legal background but ventured into playwriting and screenwriting around six years ago. Since then, Thara has completed the Channel 4 screenwriting course in 2021, been on the Forbes 30 Under 30 list, and also been nominated for an NAACP Award. Thara has several original projects in development with production companies including Kudos, Double Dutch, Warp Films, Boffola, Hill 5.14 and Zeppotron, and has writing credits on »Sex Education« (season 4, Netflix), »Queenie« (Channel 4), »Crongton« (BBC) and the second season of »Black Ops« and »Dreaming Whilst Black«. She is currently writing on a new Channel 4 legal drama, »Pierre«.
