Zeyd Taha Candan was born in Gelsenkirchen and grew up in Gladbeck. After graduating from high school, he studied Applied Cognitive and Media Science at the University of Duisburg-Essen and simultaneously graduated from the Ibn-i Sina Institute in Hensies. He has worked as a software developer, web designer, and video producer. Zeyd has produced feature films, TV shows, commercials, and short films. He also volunteered as the founder of the school newspaper Sturzflug and the startup Kafiyem. Zeyd studied for a BA in Creative Film Production at the ifs Internationale Filmschule Köln from 2019 to 2023. He has returned to the ifs to continue his studies with an MA in Digital Narratives. Zeyd is the co-founder and CTO of The FilmAI, which develops its flagship product, Storyboarder.ai.
