ALENA LYSIAKOVA, born in Belarus, has always been fascinated by the impact of stories on human lives and wanted to let people experience more intense emotions in a safe environment. That’s why, in 2006, when she started her BA studies in Journalism in Bulgaria, she also participated in student theater productions as an assistant writer and an actor.  After her studies, she focused on telling the business stories of founders through content marketing for startups and large enterprises. She also created scenarios and organised more than 50 LARP games in fantasy, comic, and sci-fi domains; the biggest one so far has been the scenario and organisation of a Marvel comic game for 120 people.  With time, Alena decided that it was time to combine her whole expertise and passion in writing emotional series. After a short introductory course in series writing, she decided to take a shift in her career and joined the MA Serial Storytelling. Studying at the ifs since 2023.
