MORITZ HOWE grew up in Oberhausen in Germany's Ruhr region. He studied Journalism (B.A.) at the University of Dortmund where he also completed several internships at daily newspapers and radio stations. His final project at university was a documentary film. In 2023, he moved to Cologne to join the documentary film production company Taglicht Media, where he was mainly involved in idea development and editorial tasks. As a producer, he contributed to the project »Soziale Welt der Tiere« (Social World of Animals). He also wrote a treatment for a film about parasites, which unfortunately was cancelled during production due to the company's insolvency. After Taglicht Media closed, Moritz started to work for the Vienna-based company Pre TV, where he served as a producer and archive producer for the Arte documentary »Der
Große Weinskandal« (The Great Wine Scandal). Since then, he has been working as a freelance archive producer. In addition to his professional interests, Moritz is passionate about sports, with a particular enthusiasm for football. Studying at the ifs since 2025.
