Burnout is a first-person art game featuring metaphorical visual storytelling, an original adaptive soundtrack, and real burnout testimonies.

Experience the journey of burnout, where every step feels heavier than the last. Follow a weaving, surreal staircase and confront the toll of mounting responsibilities and exhaustion. Glowing orbs guide your way forward and keep at bay your nemesis—a looming black vortex. Starting as a dreamy heaven, your journey takes you to the entrapping labyrinth of burning out, where the only way forward is to stop.

Grounded in real-life stories, Burnout invites players to reflect on why we keep going even when it hurts us—and discover new ways forward by reconnecting with ourselves and others who have lived through it. Built on Unity for desktop (Mac & Windows) and designed for individuals in the early stages of burnout, those recovering, and anyone at risk.
