Ich war den ganzen Sommer über in Köln – a digital performance about memory, belonging, and artificial intelligence. At once a drama and an experiment.
Paula returns to the city where she was born and finds it no longer hers. In a room that belonged to a stranger, she begins to mistake another life for her own. The space expands; memories become points floating in the void, dispersing and gathering. As Paula navigates the familiar fragments of the city of Cologne, its memory intertwines with her own sense of non-belonging. But something has been watching all along.... Fiction gives way to reality, and a conversation begins between the human and the machine, that no one can bring to a close.
