The second on-site Module of the European Showrunner Programme was a full success!

On day one and two the twelve participants got a deeper insight in structuring production and postproduction processes and learned how to develop strategies for planning and structuring a TV series from production greenlight to release while taking care, that creation drives production, not the other way round.
The course was led by Cologne producer and showrunner Andi Wecker (»Start the Fck Up«, »The Team«), featuring a case study by Finnish showrunner Mikko Pöllä (»White Wall«, »Black Widows«).

On day 3 line producer Michael Schwarz (»Borgia«, »Foundation«) focused on the budget and finances of series production. He explained the communication between the showrunner and the production manager, the tasks, roles and working processes involved, and how to find out which production manager is the right one for a particular project.
