Vita
Katri Manninen grew up in a small rural village in Southern Finland where she now lives with her husband and two sons. She started her screenwriting career in 1998 as a dialogue writer for Finland’s longest running daily soap series »Secret Lives«. Since then, she was a writer for twelve drama series – six of which were based on her original idea. She has written 29 books and 4 feature films (including »FC Venus« which was remade in Germany), but serial drama is still her all-time favorite format to watch and write. She is a doctoral student at Aalto University’s ELO film school, researching how writing for a streaming service impacts drama series development.
