Martin holds degrees in philosophy and ancient Greek and studied screenwriting at the AFI Conservatory. In 2016 he received a Student Academy Award for his short film »All These Voices«. His credits as a TV writer include »Talking Tom & Friends«, »V Imenu Ljudstva«, and »Primeri Inšpektorja Vrenka«. His film credits include »Catch« and »Preboj«. As 1st AD, Martin worked with directors such as Blaž Završnik, Stanislav Tomić, Vojko Anzeljc and many more. Martin has directed music videos for some of the most prominent artists in Slovenia, most notably two-time Grammy nominee Mak Grgić for his song »Macedonian Girl«.
