Emmy-nominated Matt Hastings is a writer, director and executive producer. He is currently the executive producer/showrunner/pilot director of »Fallen« for Night Train Media, Silver Reel and Globo. This follows similar duties as the executive producer/writer/pilot director of »Circuit Breakers« for APPLE+. Previously, he was co-executive producer on Season 4 of »The Handmaid’s Tale« for MGM/Hulu, for which he was nominated for an Emmy. He also was executive producer/director on the Netflix series »Spinning Out« and executive producer/director of seasons 2 and 3 of »Shadowhunters« (based on the New York Times bestselling book series and now a People’s Choice Award Winner). Matt was brought on to re-boot and re-imagine »Shadowhunters« from the ground up for FreeForm and Netflix. Prior to that, Matt was the co-executive producer of 66 episodes of »The Originals« for the CW. Matt has a number of series and feature films in development, including »Crossbones & Below« for Sony, »Bordertown« for Federation, »Night Call« for Blink49, »The Academy« for Corus, »The Canadians« for eOne, »Sons of Rome« for Notorious Pictures, »Evensong« for Voltage Pictures and »Hush Hush« for Paramount.
