Stéphane Mitchell is the Swiss screenwriter and creator of the acclaimed crime thriller miniseries »Banking District«, recommended by the New York Times and released in Switzerland, Europe, and the USA. Born in Geneva, she holds a BFA from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and a MA in French Literature from Geneva University. After working in Film Production for 10 years, mostly in New York, she now writes and develops series in Switzerland, including »The Guard« (8x42’, Catpics), selected for Berlinale Co-Pro Series 2025.
Stéphane co-founded SWAN Swiss Women’s Audiovisual Network and sits on the boards of the Swiss Author’s Society SSA and the Swiss Film Academy.
