Noahs Vater ist gestorben. Seit zehn Jahren hatten die beiden keinen Kontakt mehr. Jetzt ist Noah 4.000 Kilometer aus Deutschland angereist und begräbt den Vater am Fuße des Berges Ararat. Noah hat seine Wurzeln gekappt und spürt dennoch ebenso widerwillig wie sehnsüchtig, dass in ihm etwas Ungreifbares von dieser vergessenen Welt geblieben ist.
