MA 3D Animation for Film & Games
Gamze graduated with her BSc degree in 2019 as an architect. She took a class called Space in Extended Reality which enlightened her about how game design and her field of study coincide with each other. She has developed a particular interest in imagining landscapes that are independent of our world's physical rules with the help of this course. She created a basic game with her colleagues using the Unity game engine in the continuation of this course. She took several courses about game design, animation studies, and industry standard programs.
She started working as a game artist in 2021. As part of her role, she is responsible for creating basic concepts which reflect what is the general look of the game, making 3D models and textures, making basic UI design, and several parts of the process. Her creative thinking, diligence, and management aptitude were integral to the role. However, it was clear that her progress was decelerated by her lack of technical, information and training. She is looking forward to learning more about the industry and animation field.
